Cody Bellinger Hits Two Bombs At Chavez Against The Cubs

The long and short of it, Bellinger hit his 21st and 22nd home runs of the season off Jon Lester and Tim Collins. Here they are:

In all, Bellinger had three hits on the night to raise his average to .358 on the year. He’s up to 57 RBI on the year. It’s important to note that Max Muncy and David Freese went deep too in big spots in this game.

Clayton Kershaw went six innings – allowing only three early runs to improve to 6-1 on the year. The Dodgers are 46-23 on the season, and this was a picture perfect victory over the Cubs to kick off the weekend.
