How often do I write about pitching performances? When I do, it’s got to be something pretty unreal.

When my friend texted me that Shane Bieber had 15 strikeouts against the Orioles in a shutout, I thought he was exaggerating.

It was the truth.

Somehow, Bieber got overlooked as far as being looked as a big-time arm. Now, it feels like he could be the guy who takes the baton from Corey Kluber and keeps the Indians in the AL Central race into the summer.

I’ll make sure to check out his linescore next time out – he figured something out on Sunday in Cleveland.
