Uh, yeah. Chris Sale had his best shit working yesterday at Fenway Park with an MLB-record 17 strikeouts in seven innings pitched. Still, Nolan Arenado and the Colorado Rockies persevered long enough to sneak out a 5-4 extra innings win.

These two teams are mirror images of one another thus far. Colorado is 20-21 and trying to find their footing in the NL West after coming one game from a postseason berth last season. Boston is 22-20 with a hangover from their World Series championship.
Arenado continues to do his thing with 11 home runs and 35 RBI, all good for a .968 OPS. While one can say he hasn’t really gotten torrid hot yet – he’s been in a good stretch for a while now.
