2018 Winter Meetings

The 2018 Winter Meetings are underway. There has been a flurry of rumors and a lot of really great coverage on MLB Network – but little substance that has taken place so far. It’s still one of the best weeks of coverage of the entire year for a baseball fan.

With my job right now being editor of the newsdesk over at Dodgers Nation, this has mostly become my sandbox project for the time being. That said – I am still going to make every effort to write about whatever baseball stuff interests me at the current time.

The Atlanta Braves have not been real active so far at the meetings. Moreover, it’s been mentioned that the Braves may move Ender Inciarte in order to open up centerfield for Ronald Acuna Jr., but little else has taken place. MLB Network made an interesting prediction that the Braves would go and get Corey Kluber – the fact they have not gone out and tried to throw themselves in the mix for an ace has been interesting to me. They seem a frontline starter short of being a major contender in the National League.

And man the new WordPress is really a pain in the ass.
