David Bote’s Walk-Off Sunday Night Baseball Grand Slam
Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN has had some epic games going lately. Last Sunday night I watched the Boston Red Sox rally to defeat the New York Yankees (and Aroldis Chapman) at Fenway Park.
Tonight, David Bote took Ryan Madson and the Nationals off the tin roof of the batter’s eye in center at Wrigley.
Bote is just a guy filling in for the injured Kris Bryant. Cubbies win, 4-3.
Without a doubt, this was the death knell for the Nationals’ season.
