Times Are Desperate For the Dodgers

[Box Score]

The Arizona Diamondbacks have won so many regular season games lately over the Dodgers, I don’t even know the count. The Dodgers appeared to have this one in control – a 3-2 lead on the heels of a monstrous Cody Bellinger two-run homer and Clayton Kershaw on the mound.

But Kershaw wasn’t as sharp as he normally is. He hasn’t looked sharp all season. Some guy named Christian Walker hit a ball so far, it went into a restaurant in the stadium. Kershaw also allowed A.J. Pollock’s 10th home run of the year earlier in the game.

Kershaw got through six with the quality start and left with a chance for the win. But Adam Liberatore allowed the pest Daniel Descalso to get the big hit that drove in two runners and the final score held up 4-3.

This is the worst start on May 1st in Los Angeles Dodgers history. I don’t know how this season ends up at this point. I am at a loss for words, and searching for positives.
