The Dodgers may be getting an All-Star game in the near future. It’s been over 30 years, but they’re making their strong desire known to host the next unspoken for Midsummer Classic in 2020.
Team president Stan Kasten had this to say:
“We obviously are very interested as we have been since the day we got here. We’ve had a lot of conversations. … I think we’re making progress on putting everything in place to get the game.”
I think it’s time. Los Angeles is the greatest, most enchanting city in America. The Dodgers are flush with young stars and their organization should still be in a good place in 2020 when the next game comes up.
And with a little luck God-willing, we’ll find a way to be there.
