Don Baylor 1949 – 2017
Don Baylor has died at the age of 68 of cancer. Baylor had a career that spanned from 1970 to 1988. He was still going when I first started to notice the game of baseball as a whipper snapper.
In fact, I would rank Baylor as one of the first guys I recognized as a bad ass. He was on the Red Sox in RBI Baseball on the Nintendo; and he along with Matt Nokes and Eric Davis absolutely tortured me.
We salute Don Baylor and his family is in our prayers.
