Rich Hill was finally awesome again last night

[Box Score]

Finally, this was the Rich Hill we’ve been waiting on. It was his second career start at Petco Park. The first time he gave up a career high four home runs when he pitched for the Chicago Cubs in 2007. Last night Hill struck out 11 hitters and only walked one. He allowed one hit in seven innings. He picked up his fifth win, and he was absolutely awesome. He also had an RBI single.

The Dodgers got the bats out, too. Chris Taylor hit another grand slam. Justin Turner hit his seventh home run of the season.

Corey Seager was already 2 for 2, and then added his 13th home run of the season. It was a bomb that surpassed 430 statcast feet.

The Dodgers are now a dominating 55-28 on the season. Right now, unless they beat themselves; they aren’t getting beat.
