Your Saturday Baseball Post

It’s Jackie Robinson day in baseball – so all players will don the number 42 for one day only. I think this usually falls on a Sunday, so props to baseball for not making this on Easter Sunday.

As always: best day of the week. Full slate of baseball. Several aces going. Every team in play. Baseball shares the stage with the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the NBA Playoffs; but unfortunately for those sports baseball is going to be on our television still.

The song of the week that should be played on a ballpark loudspeaker near you probably is somewhere today. It’s Someday by The Strokes. Not an 80’s song, but it very well could be.
