The Top Five Yasiel Puig Moments

Every season, a new member of the MLB fraternity welcomes himself to the big leagues and unexpectedly steals our heart. This guy remains a favorite for the duration of his career and someone we follow into the future while trying to remember his humble beginnings by doing a post about it on this blog.

This year, that guy is Yasiel Puig. Here are the top five moments (in our opinion) of his MLB career to date:

Puig Homers twice in his 2nd big league game

Hit by pitch against the DiamondBacks – and the Brawl that ensued in LA

Opposite field Grand Slam, Scully: “I DON’T BELIEVE IT!”

First career four-hit game

He’s not an All-Star. He’s been banged up. He’s cooled off some. But in the second half, people are going to see how good this guy really is. That’s our prediction. We’re going to need to do a whole new list when the season ends.
