The Labor Day Post

Labor Day is a great holiday. Like Memorial Day before it, it’s a time for barbecues and Major League Baseball is still king to those who love football–unless you’re a Mets fan. It’s opposite of Memorial Day in that it’s kind of like summer closing and giving way to the fall. So we hope you had enough time at your summer pool and rolled the amount of putts that you wanted to.

By the time you read this, we’ll be on the open road and headed straight towards Hurricane Earl. We’re headed out east this weekend to spend some time with the fiance’s family. We’re hoping to play about 54 holes of golf in three days, that is if the whole Hurricane business doesn’t screw things up which it probably will. It’s also worth noting that just one year from today your editor will be getting married. A scary but also comforting thought.

We’ll be doing some posting from the Jersey shore without a doubt. In the meantime, have a safe and happy Labor Day; and enjoy the time with your friends and family.
