Welcome back to the Reds, Josh Roenicke

Exciting news today Reds fans. We’re big fans of this guy. And we’re not just excited about his call up because that means no more Mike Lincoln for the time being. We think Josh Roenicke has the chance to be pretty special coming out of the Reds bullpen for a long time.


A while back he was dubbed as having the best fastball in the Reds organization. The guy reminds us a little bit of Scott Williamson in terms of stuff. We think that he’ll be a guy they slowly work into some innings out of the bullpen and eventually he’ll be one of the most dependable pitchers out of the Reds pen which is already one of the best in the Major Leagues.

So good luck Josh, and we’re glad we’ve got another good dude to root for on our club. We’re excited to see that heater. You’re gonna go far kid.
