This video is hardly a new find but it still deserves to be part of the blog. What better way to fit in little Earl Weaver then by mentioning the time he was asked to elaborate on why he didn’t use Terry Crowley more. Thing is, for a guy who sucked so ‘fuckin’ bad, he was around a long fuckin’ time. Crowley played 15 seasons and appeared in 865 big league games. Maybe Weaver got tired of answering that question over those two stints in Baltimore.

We figured Crowley wasn’t much, as we had a high school American Legion coach who boasted that he’d struck out Terry Crowley during his glory days.

So hats off to Earl Weaver. The game needs more like you today.
