Honestly Pretty Pumped Up For Cubbies/Reds

So many times this season I’ve tried to get pumped up like the guy in his Jets jersey in the corner of the bar that yells “THIS IS THE SEASON!” every week of the NFL season.

The bottom line is the Reds haven’t ever gotten to a ‘pinnacle’ type point so I’ll just have to settle for this. A three game set against the good, albeit fuckin’ rival Cubs at Wrigley field.

We’ve got 3 games to prove that we belong in the ~~NL Central~~ Wildcard Race. Then we head to Milwaukee for a 3 game set before the All-Star break. In terms of schedules, this is the motherlode of ours!

I have to say, I’m kind of excited. I might break out my brand spankin’ new Bruce jersey, and my buddy and I are pulling out all the stops. We’re watching the game at his place where the Reds are 2-0 on the season. We’ve tried to use his place only sparingly and in must-win situations.
