Let me slide down the Bannister and warm it up

Lights Out Liriano (best nickname in MLB?) and the Minnesota Twins were no match for the Kansas City Royals and their powder blue uniforms. Of course it didn’t hurt that Brian Bannister went to 3-0 and moving his ERA down under 1.00, but who am I to speculate. By all accounts, fans seem to like the uniforms. It’s the best decision this organization has made in a long time. And I like them. They remind me of the George Brett, Bo Jackson, Willie Wilson, Hal Mcrae days; back when the Royals weren’t an afterthought. And that’s good for baseball.
