For pitchers of the Cubs, Orioles, Phillies, Mariners and Giants; today was the first day of work. Not all is negative for the nation’s past-time. The Yankees anounced they’d allow Andy Pettite to report to camp late, while the Cubs Ryan Dempster predicted that the North Siders from ChiTown win the World Series.

How many Cubs players in the past 100 years have done that? They’re not getting out of the NL Central, bro.
