Get ready to hang em’ high tonight. They’ll be enough true grit you can cut it with a knife. It’s a shootout in the old west tonight between the two top teams in the American League Central. The Cleveland Indians travel to Detroit to take on the Detroit Tigers for a 3 game set. These teams are seperated by 1 & 1/2 ballgames with Cleveland holding the lead right now and play just 3 more times after this series, September 19-21 in Cleveland.

The Indians must find a way with their horses on the mound the next few nights to squeak these ballgames out and get a win. 2 out of 3 would be the minimum expectation for the Tribe. This series will get some extended breakdown after each ballgame.

According to Curtis Granderson’s “blog” he is fighting the flu. Good. We need all the help we can get.
