Bobby Jenks piece of history

Bobby Jenks has retired 41 straight hitters, tying a major league record and setting a new American league record.

Amazing enough, the fireballin’ country boy has thrown a perfect game (in relief) for 1 full 9 inning game and then another 4 and 2/3 innings. During the streak he has 11 K’s, with 93 of the 132 pitches being strikes! The guy is just saying if you can hit it, hit it; and hitters cannot.

The next oponent for the White Sox and the record setting Jenks is the Oakland Athletics; whom are light in the hitting department. I have a feeling that Jenks’ record stops with Oakland–irony just is that way.
