Tonight's the night; the stars shine bright

You think back to all the times during the mid-summer that you watched the classic. Baseball’s biggest stars in one game, showing the God-given skills that they are the very best at. Masters of their craft, dream matchups, and memorable moments made with each game.

So many great memories come back to me when thinking about MLB’s All-Star Game. The first one I remember is Griffey in 1992 winning the MVP in San Diego. I also remember the extra inning game. Ripken’s homerun. Kruk turning his helmet around so he didn’t have to hit lefty off Randy Johnson. Being an All Star in the big leagues forever etches your name into a type of baseball immortality. Tonight, I hope it is Sizemore, Victor, or Sabathia that takes the stage and makes the memory.
