Dispatch to the battle of Ohio Series II

Tonight I’m headed to Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati to hopefully see something of epic porportions. I think that if any game was the game to venture to within this 3 game series, last night’s game was probably it.

Tonight’s game features a pitching matchup of lefthander Jeremy Sowers against Matt Belisle which is less than exciting to say the least.

Still, being at the ballpark beats a night of doing anything else (pretty much). You’ll remember I was at game 1 in Cleveland of the first battle of Ohio in which the Indians won 2 of 3. Grady Sizemore was the whole damn show that night, as he collected 4 hits and homered.

In this second venture up I-71 I am hoping the Reds play well and continue to get a steak going. I want to see Josh Hamilton in the lineup; Narron! Yes I know the Indians are throwing a lefthander, but the only way this kid is going to get better is if he faces lefthanders regularly. What do the Reds have to lose anyways?

Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Adam Dunn homers tonight. He always seems to homer when I’m on hand and I haven’t seen him hit one since opening day this year; when he did it twice against Carlos Zambrano. It’s not looking all that special right now, as everyone in the big leagues has been homering off of Carlos Zambrano this season.

So stay tuned for a big time game wrap, coverage, stories, and shennanigans from tonights ballgame in Cincinnati.
